Siberian Husky breeders are supported by clubs and other associations that take care of the breed's health and ensure responsible breeding of these dogs. Thus, breeders dealing with the Siberian Husky are supposed to be knowledgeable on the point of canine genetics and the stages of rearing puppies.
Though the Siberian Husky is generally a healthy breed, it has a number of diseases that need particular attention. Breeders should test their breeding stock for eye problems and temperament.
